Actress Sandra Bullock is set to receive the Hollywood Career Award at the 17th annual Hollywood Film Awards. The Blind Side star will be feted on 21 October (13) at the Beverly Hilton in California.
Hollywood Film Awards founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu, says, “We are honoured to present the Hollywood Actress Award to Sandra for her outstanding work in (new film) Gravity. Holding the screen alone for a large part of the film, she delivers a stunning and emotionally layered performance that shows once again why she is one of Hollywood’s most respected and popular actresses.”
Previous recipients include Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz.
