In the Event of a Moon Disaster will be inspired by a speech written by U.S. President Richard Nixon’s aide William Safire, which would have been read if the space mission ended in tragedy.
Principal photography for the movie is slated to begin next year (15).
American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the moon as part of the Apollo 11 space mission on 20 July (69).
