Tom Hanks terrifies granddaughter on Disneyland ride

Tom Hanks fears he has scarred his two-year-old granddaughter for life after taking her on a ride at Disneyland. The movie star, who plays Walt Disney in new film Saving Mr. Banks, took his actor son Colin’s daughter, Olive, to the happiest place on earth recently – and realised too late the park’s Winnie the Pooh ride can be a nightmare for a toddler.
Hanks says, “It terrified her… She was too young. We’re in a herky-jerky car that’s going through these doors… and it gets dark, and then these big bears are spinning around… and Winnie the Pooh is coming out into your face.
“I have a feeling it reminded her of her journey through the birth canal… She has not recovered.”
