British rapper Wretch 32 has given up his dreams of conquering the U.S. so he can stay at home and raise his young son. The star, real name Jermaine Scott, would love to replicate his U.K. popularity Stateside but has vowed to remain in his native country to experience the joy of caring for seven-year-old Kyrayn.
He tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “My son has already lost the best part of his seven years being with me in this country. For me to go to America for a year or two, I can’t get my head around how I’m going to do it.”
