You may know him as Damon from The Vampire Diaries, but Ian Somerhalder has had another not so blood-sucking project up his sleeve for a while.
Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is a groundbreaking film that reveals the “simple solution to literally stop climate change in its tracks”. Ian Somerhalder stars in and is an Executive Producer of the film.
Somerhalder revealed on his Instagram that he and Geoff Shotz shot the first footage of the film 9 years ago in Africa with Zimbabwean ecologist, Allan Savory. It took directors Josh and Rebecca Tickell 7 years to complete the film.
Kiss the Ground also features Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Jason Mraz, Rosario Dawson, and more.
