The search is over; Josh Brolin is officially going to play Cable in Deadpool 2!
With casting rumors flying left and right over who would play Cable opposite Ryan Reynolds in the next installment of the Deadpool series, it’s finally confirmed that Josh Brolin will be Cable. He is set to have signed for four movies.
At one point, Man of Steel’s Michael Shannon and Stranger Things David Harbour were rumored to be in the running for the part.

Josh Brolin is no stranger to Marvel, having played Thanos for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Guardians of the Galaxy. The 48-year-old actor has also starred in countless films during his prolific career, including The Goonies, Hail, Caesar! and True Grit.
Newcomer Zazie Beetz will play Domino.
