Tap dancer Bunny Briggs dead at 92

Tap dancer Bunny Briggs has died at the age of 92. The Broadway star passed away on 15 November (14) in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to the New York Times.
Briggs began performing in Harlem, New York as a young boy and went on to appear with Duke Ellington’s Orchestra, on TV special Motown Returns to the Apollo and in movies including 1932’s Slow Poke and Tap in 1989.
In 1989, he was nominated for a Tony Award for his work in the Broadway show Black and Blue.
He also received an honorary Doctorate of Performing Arts in American Dance from Oklahoma City University in 2002.
