Stephen Lewis laid to rest

British actor STEPHEN LEWIS was laid to rest in London on Tuesday (25Aug15).
Lewis, most famous for playing grumpy ticket inspector Cyril ‘Blakey’ Blake in classic TV sitcom On the Buses, died on 12 August (15) at a nursing home in Wanstead, east London, aged 88.
More than a hundred mourners turned out in Wanstead to say farewell to the beloved actor, including his On the Buses co-star Anna Karen, who says, “He’ll be very sadly missed. He was an extremely talented and very funny man and wonderful to work with.”
One mourner left a floral tribute in the form of a red double-decker London bus near Our Lady of the Lourdes Church, where the service took place. Lewis was later buried near the nursing home.
