7 of the Cutest BFFs in Pixar History

20 years ago, Disney and Pixar teamed up for their first full-length feature film together, Toy Story! Little did they know what a difference in film they would make. In the last twenty years, Disney/Pixar has given us some of the cutest best friends in the history of both companies. We’ve had #FriendGoals ever since our first introduction to Buzz and Woody.

1. Buzz & Woody – Toy Story

Pixar got us hooked with these two BFFs. Originally “enemies”, as Woody was jealous of Buzz at first, they both realized something about themselves by being with the other and became besties. There’s no one else we’d rather go to infinity and beyond with.

2. Arlo & Spot – The Good Dinosaur

While The Good Dinosaur hasn’t even released yet, we can confirm we haven’t seen a cuter dinosaur and human pairing in our lives. This movie looks ready to make us say “aww” and cry our eyes out at the same time.

3. Joy & Sadness – Inside Out

Joy and Sadness go hand and hand and we didn’t even realize this until we watched Inside Out. You can’t have joy without a little sadness! Their banter back and forth is what made this movie good.

4. Mike & Sully – Monster’s Inc.

There’s never been a better scare team than Mike and Sully, not in the history of Monster’s Inc! If anyone’s going to help you wrangle a human you accidentally acquire, it’s your monster BFF.

5. Marlin & Dory – Finding Nemo

True friends help each other out in tough times. Marlin and Dory met by chance, but thank god for that! How else would Marlin have found Nemo if Dory couldn’t read P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sydney?

6. Russell & Carl – Up

There is nothing cuter than Russell’s determination to help Mr. Fredricksen to try and earn his “Assisting The Elderly” badge. Dug is also an honorary BFF as well, because he’s a talking dog!

7. Remy & Alfredo – Ratatouille

Maybe being friends with a rat isn’t exactly normal, but Alfredo helps little Remy achieve his dreams of being a chef, and isn’t that what friends are for?
