Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster renew wedding vows

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster have renewed their wedding vows.
The loved-up pair, who originally tied the knot in June 2007, have decided to celebrate a decade of wedded bliss by saying their vows once again.
Rod and Penny were watched by around 100 family and friends at the ceremony, held on the grounds of their 18th-century home in Essex, England, with romantic Rod explaining how Penny means more to him now than ever before.
“Penny is my whole world,” Rod gushed to Britain’s Hello! Magazine. “Love means many things to many people but to me it’s wanting to share everything with the one you love and I love Penny now more than ever, if that is at all possible.”
The couple’s sons Alastair, 11, and Aiden, six, took a central role in the big day, passing the wedding bands to their devoted mum and dad. And Penny’s dog Bubbles got in on the act too, walking the 46-year-old model down the aisle.
The vows exchanged were the same as those Penny and 72-year-old Rod said to each other 10 years ago at their lavish wedding in Italy, with their original priest presiding over the second ceremony.
“Being able to reflect on those 10 years, and say those words to one another and still know we mean them is important,” Penny smiled. “This felt more special. You get married with the hope that you’ll be together; when we renewed our vows, we said them not with just hope, but with a reassurance. Along with hope, there is also faith, love and bringing all the family together.”
Both the Maggie May singer and Penny, who have been together for 18 years, wore white, and they treated their guests to a sumptuous three-course dinner after their vows.
