Helen Hunt splits from longtime boyfriend – report

Helen Hunt has reportedly parted ways with her longtime boyfriend Matthew Carnahan.
The couple has been dating for 16 years and are parents to 13-year-old daughter Makena Lei, but sources tell In Touch magazine Hunt and Carnahan split months ago.
According to the publication, this isn’t the first break-up for the couple.
“Matthew moved out a few times over the years,” one insider explains. “Helen would always take him back.”
The Twister star has not commented on the reports.
In 2015, the couple seemed to be going strong, developing a TV series together.
“It’s a very exciting time. I’m developing a show with my partner, Matthew Carnahan, who runs House of Lies,” she told The Daily Beast. “It’s something he’s written that we’d make together and I’d be in. It’s weird and wild and like stepping off the planet Earth. It’s a musical – but a hallucinogenic one. It’s totally crazy. We did a little work on it to present it to the network, and I felt completely out of my comfort zone.”
Helen was previously married to actor Hank Azaria for almost two years before they divorced in 1999. Carnahan has a 20-year-old son from a previous relationship.
