Al Pacino is spearheading a new campaign to make West Hollywood’s only independent theatre a historic landmark.
The movie veteran will join actor Esai Morales and singer Sophie B. Hawkins at an upcoming city Historic Preservation Committee meeting in a bid to save the Macha Theatre from developers.
Pacino recently spent five months at the Macha Theatre developing and performing his new play God Looked Away, which he plans to take to Broadway.
