Bonnie Franklin, ‘One Day at a Time’ Star, Is Battling Pancreatic Cancer

Actress Bonnie Franklin has had to face some upsetting news recently. The 68-year-old One Day at a Time star has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Franklin’s family rep confirms to USA Today. She is currently undergoing treatment to battle the cancer.

Franklin is best known for her role as Ann Romano, a divorced mom, in the hit series One Day at a Time, which aired from 1975-1984. In the series, she starred alongside Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips. And Phillips has taken to Twitter to share her sadness about the pain that Franklin is going through:
