Hugh Jackman taking film studies class in lockdown

Hugh Jackman is brushing up on his movie knowledge by taking a remote film studies course during the lockdown.

According to the New York Post‘s gossip column Page Six, the X-Men star has been taking Columbia University professor Annette Insdorf’s Reel Pieces class.

The Greatest Showman actor revealed during an online panel with Insdorf for cultural and community center 92nd Street Y this week that studying the course with the expert has really influenced how he watches movies.

He revealed, “It’s made me see a bigger picture of every script that comes in, whether it be ‘how does this help me grow as an artist?’ or ‘why are we telling this story?'”
