It’s Happening! Kim Kardashian Is Pregnant with Kanye West’s Baby

Since then, Kardashian went on to write in a blog post titled “New Year, New Beginnings”, “It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo.”

As soon as the news broke, the rest of that oh-so-media-shy Kardashian clan took to Twitter to share in the hoopla. Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, tweeted, “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!” And Kardashian’s sister, Kourtney, added: “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!”

Kardashian, 32, and West, 35, first went public with their relationship back in April, but she has openly talked about wanting a child for a long time now. Even as recently as September, she told Barbara Walters on The View that she was ready to be a mom. “At the space that I am in life now, kids are definitely something I want,” she said.

While the reality starlet is on her way to expanding that Kardashian family brand with her rapper beau, she does still have to finalize her pending divorce from her ex, Kris Humphries.
