On Sunday night, Kanye West abruptly ended his concert in NY because of a family emergency. There was speculation about what exactly happened, but it turned out, what happened was more horrible than most of us could have imagined.
Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by two men posing as police officers in her Paris apartment. According to a source who spoke to E! News, Kim was gagged and bound at her hands and feet, handcuffed and held at gunpoint.
“She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home. Then they wrapped her mouth in tape and put her in the bathtub. She thought they were for sure going to kill her,” said the source.
The men made off with a ring worth an estimated $4.5 million and a jewelry box worth $6.7 million, among other items including her purse, two cell phones and 1,000 euros.
CNN reports that five men were involved in the robbery. They threatened the mansion concierge with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open her private apartment.
Two men gained access to Kardashian’s room and a gun was held to her head. Kardashian’s children North West and Saint West were not present.
Kardashian was in Paris with her Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner on a tour of Paris fashion week. She was also joined by Kanye West, who left on Wednesday.
After the incident, Kim left her hotel in two vans with a police escort and took a private plane back to the US.
According to a Kardashian representative, the actress was physically unharmed but badly shaken.
