A song can’t officially be dubbed the “song of the summer” until there’s a video of the President of the United States singing it. Last year we got to see Barack Obama sing along to “Call Me Maybe,” and now the commander-in-chief is taking on Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”
Well, he’s not really singing, per se. He’s more saying the words in the lyrics at completely different points in time — but that’s close enough for us! Viral video masterminds baracksdubs made Daft Punk’s catchy single the latest song to get the presidential treatment.
We already knew Obama was a smooth guy, but it turns out he’s quite the party animal, too. You’re up all night to get some, Barack? What would Michelle think?
