Patrick Swayze has returned home after spending a week in hospital battling pneumonia, People.com reports.
The actor, whose new TV show The Beast debuted on A&E Jan. 15, is suffering from pancreatic cancer and checked himself in to a hospital last week after seeking help for a persistent cough.
But following several days under the close watch of doctors, the actor has now been deemed well enough to go home.

Swayze’s representative, Annett Wolf, confirmed the news to People.com, saying, “I am happy to announce that Patrick Swayze is home after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia.”
