Chris Rock stunned comedy fans at New York City club The Stand on Wednesday night (04Sep19), when he took to the stage unannounced to work on new material.
The comedian was enjoying a drink at the new venue when he decided to test the crowd out with an impromptu set.
“He watched a few acts and then decided to hit the stage himself to work on new material,” an eyewitness tells Page Six.
Rock spent about 20 minutes cracking jokes about relationships and healthcare.
