Eva Longoria has landed Oscar nominee Demian Bichir as the lead of her new TV drama Grand Hotel.
The Hateful Eight actor will star opposite Roselyn Sanchez as the owner of a family-run Miami Beach, Florida hotel.
The show will be based on a hit Spanish soap.
Announcing Demian’s casting on Friday (02Mar18), Longoria revealed she couldn’t imagine anyone else playing her leading man, adding, “I’ve done two movies with Demian and he acts with a quiet force that conveys the strength this character needs. I am so excited to be assembling this all-star cast that reflects the world in which we live.”
The Mexican star was Oscar nominated for 2011’s A Better Life.
