Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern remember Peter Fonda: ‘He will be missed’

Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern have fondly remembered the late Peter Fonda following his death on Friday(16Aug19).
The Easy Rider star passed away surrounded by family members at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 79 after a battle with lung cancer.
Ladd, 83, recalled the memories she had of the actor, who she worked with on the 1966 movie The Wild Angels.
“Peter was a friend, a wonderful actor, and a great humanitarian,” she told People. “He rang a bell for culture. He will indeed be missed.”
Ladd also worked with Fonda on the upcoming movie The Last Full Measure, which was the final film he shot before he passed away.
“We recently had the privilege of working in a new film together to be released this year that will not only entertain, but lift up humanity, The Last Full Measure,” Ladd continues. “I remember when we were filming Wild Angels, my very first film, we were practically children back then.”
Dern, who also starred with Ladd and Fonda on Wild Angels, paid a touching tribute to his friend.
“Peter Fonda always dared to dream. His incredible patience will be missed – he loved to push the envelope. He was quite simply a ‘true seeker’,” the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star told People.
