Jacqueline Bracamontes spills on William Levy fling

Mexican actress Jacqueline Bracamontes has confirmed long-running rumours she briefly romanced her TV co-star William Levy, revealing she called off the relationship after learning the actor’s girlfriend was pregnant.
Jacqueline met Cuban hunk William in 2009, when he was cast as her lover in the telenovela Sortilegio (Love Spell), and reports at the time suggested the pair’s onscreen chemistry had spilled over into real life.
The gossip was made all the more interesting by William’s on/off romance with actress Elizabeth Gutierrez, who he began dating in 2003.
The stars remained tight-lipped about the love triangle claims for years, but Jacqueline has now opened up about her personal life in her new memoir, La Pasarela De Mi Vida (The Gateway of My Life), in which the 37-year-old admits she fell for William while he was on a break from Elizabeth.
“He had told me, ‘I am not with my wife (sic),’ that is why we were going out, to see where it went,” she recalled during a candid interview on Spanish-language news show Primer Impacto (First Impact).
However, the romance didn’t last as William soon discovered his ex was pregnant with their second child, and Jacqueline is thankful she decided not to pursue the relationship any further.
“What he told me that day saved me from a situation that was not for me,” she said.
William, who is also known for playing Jennifer Lopez’s lover in her I’m Into You video, subsequently reconciled with Elizabeth, and she gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Kailey, in March, 2010. The child was a little sister for the actors’ son Christopher, who was born in 2006.
