Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka has landed the coveted role as the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
The young actress, who played Don Draper’s daughter Sally in the hit drama, will front the new Netflix adaptation based on the Archie Comics graphic novel The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The new show will be “darker and more macabre” than the original TV series, in which Melissa Joan Hart portrayed the half-witch title character.
Shipka most recently appeared opposite Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange in TV series Feud: Bette and Joan.
