Kristofer Hivju taking on double duty in TV thriller Twin

Game Of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju is set to pull double duty to portray twins in a thrilling new TV drama.
The Norwegian actor, known for his role as Wildlings leader Tormund Giantsbane on the hit fantasy series, has been working on Twin for over a decade with co-creator Kristoffer Metclafe, and now the passion project is finally moving into production.
Twin will star Hivju as estranged identical twins Erik and Adam, who become involved in a big fight which results in Adam’s accidental death at the hands of his wife Ingrid and his sibling. To cover up the crime, surfer bum Erik takes over Adam’s identity to continue his successful family business, reports Variety.com.
The drama series will be filmed in Norway and directed by Metcalfe.
Hivju, who also plays a villain in the new Fast & Furious franchise sequel The Fate of the Furious, isn’t the first actor to tackle such a role – Zach Galifianakis currently portrays identical twins on his TV comedy series Baskets, while Leonardo DiCaprio pulled off the task in 1998 film The Man in the Iron Mask, and Lindsay Lohan did the same as a kid in The Parent Trap.
