Steve Howey and Sarah Shahi sued by ex-nanny

Married actors Steve Howey and Sarah Shahi are facing legal action from their former nanny, amid allegations of verbal abuse and sexual harassment.
Sarah Alaseri claims she was hired by Shameless star Howey and Person of Interest actress Shahi in July, 2012 to help care for their three children, but her three-year stint with the couple reportedly became a living nightmare.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, Sarah claims Howey would constantly lambast her for following her Muslim customs during work hours, and the criticism became so unbearable, she stopped performing her daily prayers in their house.
Meanwhile, Shahi allegedly shared gossip about her sex life and showed the nanny explicit images, while she is also said to have encouraged Sarah to “run off” with Howey.
According to TMZ, Sarah eventually quit the job, but she is now suing the couple for damages for back wages and harassment, among other charges.
The actors, who wed in Las Vegas in 2009, have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
