Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Marla Maples, Sasha Cohen, George Takei, Mya… Wait a minute–where are all the “Stars”?!
Oh, that’s right: When a reality show uses the word “stars” or “celebrities” in its title, it is to be taken with a grain of salt because those in question are actually former famous people trying to get back to where they once were.
CBS’ new Secret Talents, then, is no exception.
In addition to the aforementioned “stars,” Clint Black, Danny Bonaduce and a host of other seemingly retired actors/athletes/socialites/Playmates shoot for a comeback under the guise of secret talents.
Among those talents are, well, primarily singing and dancing.
Secret Talents could be a decent guilty-pleasure show, but somebody needs to tell CBS that the strike is over and scripted shows have returned from hiatus!
