Rockwell Joins ‘Cowboys and Aliens’

Fresh off his role in one surefire blockbuster directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man 2), Sam Rockwell has signed up for another: Cowboys & Aliens.

Rockwell joins a star-studded cast that includes Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde and Harrison Ford in the sci-fi action movie, about — as the title implies — an alien invasion in the Wild West.

Power players Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are producing Cowboys.

Rockwell plays in arms manufacturer in this week’s Iron Man 2.
