After critical acclaim for her latest film Tree of Life, star Jessica Chastain is now getting a ton of offers (as she should for putting up with a Terrence Malick movie) and latest is to appear in the Guillermo del Toro produced ghost-flick Mama. It’s being written and directed by Andres Muschietti where he will expand upon his original short film. It follows two young girls who are haunted by a ghost they believe to be their mother. Since that’s all we know of the story, going to go out on a limb here and say Chastain is being sought for the ghost role.
A hot red head ghost haunting me? That sounds awesome.
