Big Little Lies cast had to start from scratch after wardrobe was tossed

The stars of hit TV drama Big Little Lies needed a whole new wardrobe for the second season because all the outfits were tossed when the show ended in 2017.
Cast and crew were convinced the adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s book was a single mini-series and so props and Alix Friedberg’s costumes were dumped.
But then fan reaction prompted producers, including Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, to consider a second season and Moriarty agreed to write a follow-up to her book – and now the show is back, set to hit screens again next month (Jun19).
Star Adam Scott admits cast and crew had to “start from scratch”.
“It truly was meant as a limited series,” he tells Good Morning America. “They had gotten rid of all of the wardrobe… It (second season) was unexpected.”
Co-star James Tupper adds, “Believe it or not there’s new and fresh lies!”
