In the wake of news breaking that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are heading for a divorce, some happy news has taken this day for a better turn. One of Planet Earth’s favorite singers, Adele, has announced she is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.
“Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” Adele, 24, posted on her website Friday. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”
Hollywood.com has yet to hear back from Adele’s rep, but has already started playing 21 on a loop in celebration.
