Alfie Boe accused of obscene Katherine Jenkins graffiti

British tenor Alfie Boe has been accused of defacing a poster of his operatic rival Katherine Jenkins with an obscenity.
The singers reportedly fell out while co-starring in a London production of the musical Carousel last year (17) and he allegedly left crude graffiti on a promotional image of her in an HMV store in Manchester, England.
The Welsh soprano, 38, visited the shop for an album signing on Tuesday (04Dec18) and according to U.K. newspaper The Sun, staff told her they had covered up a promotional poster of her as Alfie had written the word “****” across it when he attended his own signing there last month.
“Katherine was absolutely shocked when she saw it,” an onlooker told the publication. “She has no problem with Alfie after they worked together, but he clearly does. The word he wrote is as unpleasant as it gets. She noticed someone had tried to cover up her poster and asked why. Embarrassed staff had to admit what had gone on. She just looked very hurt and upset by it.”
Representatives for Alfie, 45, who hails from nearby Blackpool, did not respond to a request for comment. A source close to the star told The Sun someone else with a grudge against the female opera star may have been responsible, saying: “Anyone could have done this.”
The pair reportedly began feuding when topping the bill in Carousel at the London Coliseum theatre, as he was angered by Katherine being given the number one dressing room despite him playing the show’s lead, Billy Bigelow.
