Angelina Jolie Could Have New Son in Next Few Weeks

Angelina Jolie may be united with her new adopted son within weeks, a Vietnamese adoption official has confirmed.

Vu Duc Long, director of the Southeast Asian nation’s Ministry of Justice’s International Adoption Department, said the actress’ application had been speeded up because she had met the three-and-a-half-year-old on a previous visit to the country in November.

Duc Long says officials expect to complete Jolie‘s paperwork by the end of March, meaning she is free to pick up the child anytime after that.

The boy will be the third child adopted by Jolie. Together with partner Brad Pitt, she is mother to Cambodian Maddox, 5, and Zahara Marley, 2.

The couple also welcomed their first biological child together, Shiloh Nouvel, in May.

Jolie’s New Son Is a Soccer-Mad, Shy Boy

The Vietnamese boy Angelina Jolie is planning to adopt is crazy about soccer and is very shy, according to the director of the Vietnamese orphanage where he currently lives.

Jolie filed papers to adopt the three-and-a-half-year-old tot earlier this year and officials expect the actress will be able to bring him into her family by the end of the month.

Tam Binh Orphanage director Nguyen Van Trung said the boy was abandoned at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City when he was a baby and was taken to the orphanage, where he has lived since.

Trung says, “He is in good health. He is a little bit shy.

“The boy gets along well with other children and loves to play soccer.”

Jolie chose the boy when she visited the orphanage with Brad Pitt last November.
