In this Sunday’s Parade magazine, Angelina Jolie opened up about her relationship with Brad Pitt and how they enjoy snuggling in their pajamas with their six kids and watching Lady and the Tramp while they’re assembling their weapons faster than Forrest Gump. Specifically, she said
“Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me. The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete.”
What She Means: Anyone will admit she’s making quite a nice sentiment about her family. In a way, we all crave such unconditional acceptance. But beneath that, she means she’s raising the best kids in the world because they don’t care about how she made out with her brother, wore blood in a vial around her neck, and being so vocal about her automotive sex with Billy Bob Thornton on camera. So those tidbits about their mother are running rampant in their little brains, but they’re still interested in counting how many carrots are on their plates and finding out if a sheep can ever feel like a cat. So yeah, they’ve gotta be some pretty stellar little people.
