Bernard Fowler and Earl Slick join Celebrating David Bowie tribute tour

Longtime Rolling Stones backing singer Bernard Fowler has signed on to front the David Bowie tribute tour line-up.
He will join Bowie collaborator Earl Slick for the North American leg of the recently announced Celebrating David Bowie 2018 tour.
The show has been put together by various musicians who performed with the late rock icon before his death in 2016, and Slick, who worked on landmark Bowie albums such as Diamond Dogs, Young Americans and Reality, among others, and toured extensively with him, is thrilled to be part of the project.
“I’m happy to announce that I am officially joining my longtime DB bandmates starting on the February leg of the ‘Celebrating David Bowie’ tour. So put on your red shoes and I’ll see you all then.”
He and Fowler will join legendary Bowie touring and recording keyboardist, and CDB band leader, Mike Garson, his predecessor Gerry Leonard, and bassist Carmine Rojas.
Fishbone star Angelo Moore, who was a big part of this year’s (17) CDB tour, will also be a part of the 2018 dates, as will various special guests and other former Bowie band members, who will make surprise appearances along the way.
The European leg of the Celebrating David Bowie tour begins in January (18), before hitting the U.S. at the beginning of February (18). A new Mexico City date on 1 March (18) has just been announced.
