Blues Traveler star John Popper is a dad

Rocker John Popper has become a first-time father just in time for America’s Thanksgiving holiday (26Nov15).
The Blues Traveler frontman and his new wife, Jordan Auleb, welcomed daughter Eloise Ann Popper in Seattle, Washington on Monday (23Nov15).
The proud parents tell People.com, “She is perfect! She latched on to her mama right away and then immediately grabbed her daddy by the chest hairs. We’re in love!”
Explaining the tot’s moniker, proud papa Popper says, “The first name is after Jordan’s favourite childhood book… The middle name is after Eloise’s wise and great grandmother, who is still with us and in (cancer) remission at 83.”
The 48-year-old musician shared the pregnancy news with fans in April (15), when he announced the parents-to-be were also engaged.
Taking to Twitter.com, he wrote, “Jordan & I are having a baby!!!! We can’t wait!!! Soon we’re getting married too!!!”
They wed weeks later.
