The couple have retreated to the African country in a bid to have their first child together in peace, but locals are convinced the pair will also wed in Namibia before returning to America.
The wedding rumors hit after Pitt bought an ivory and quartz crystal stone from a jewelry store last weekend.
According to local custom, grooms give the gem to their brides as a pledge of fidelity.
The pair have already been the subject of two wedding hoaxes, which drew the world’s press to Italy and to Namibia, where they were rumored to be tying the knot last weekend–the same day Pitt bought his girlfriend the ivory crystal.
In a recent interview, Pitt confessed he and Jolie felt that the African nation was a very special place.
