Caprice Bourret diagnosed with brain tumour

Caprice Bourret underwent surgery after being diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year (17).
The 45-year-old model began feeling unwell when she was training for U.K. winter sports TV show The Jump, and was urged to see a doctor by the programme’s bosses.
After seeing the physician, Caprice was informed she had a tumour, reportedly the size of a thumb, in her brain, and would need to have an operation to remove it.
Caprice pulled out of The Jump at the time of the diagnosis, with her representative stating her withdrawal was due to an illness, without giving any more details.
However, the statuesque blonde has now opened up about her health battle in an interview with Hello! magazine.
“I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I found out while I was competing in the show and boy, was it more horrific than any of the challenges,” she explained.
“I had headaches that were not going away and my vision was beginning to act up so the show’s production insisted I see their doctor.”
While the diagnosis was a shock for Caprice, she immediately began to think about her three-year-old sons, named Jett and Jax, and what would happen to them and her partner Ty Comfort if she didn’t make it through the operation.
“My first thought was for my two little boys. I’m their rock and keep my family together. It was the scariest moment I’d ever experienced,” she continued.
It is understood that the operation went well and Caprice is now on the road to recovery.
