Chris Rea began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the thriller "Cross-Country" (1983) with Richard Beymer, "Auf Immer und Ewig" (1986) with Eva Mattes and "Madhouse" (1990). His music also appeared in the Billie Whitelaw biopic drama "The Krays" (1990). In the nineties, Chris Rea's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Michael Douglas smash hit action flick "Basic Instinct" (1992), the Christine Lahti comedic drama "Leaving Normal" (1992) and the drama "Soft Top, Hard Shoulder" (1993) with Peter Capaldi.
