Cooper Urges Press To Drop Aniston Rumors

Actor Bradley Cooper has urged the media to stop circulating rumors that he is dating Jennifer Aniston — because they really are “just friends.”

The pair was linked romantically after they were spotted enjoying a meal at romantic New York Italian restaurant Il Cantinori last week — with many Internet gossips speculating that they have been secretly dating for several months.

Cooper, who starred alongside Aniston in recent movie He’s Just Not That Into You, subsequently denied the stories — but rumors of a relationship refused to go away.

In a press conference in Paris on Friday the actor once again addressed the reports — insisting they are not true.

He says, “She’s a friend of mine. Simply, simply, just a friend. In America, it’s not like it is here. She’s someone who is super, super known. Famous. If someone says ‘hello’ to her, it’s given that he’s fallen in love with her. So, no. No. She’s a very, very interesting woman, but she’s simply a friend.

“We made a film together but we didn’t have any scenes together. I got hired in at the beginning of the casting, and my part was solely with Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Connelly. Which isn’t bad at all.”
