Uggie, the adorable Jack Russell terrier from The Artist made history on June 25 by becoming the first dog to put paw prints in the concrete at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
Like a typical celebrity, the day was all about making a grand entrance (look, no leash!).
Uggie arrived to the red carpet in a fire truck instead of a limo and was presented with a cake made in the shape of a fire hydrant.
The ceremony marked another special moment for the scene-stealing pooch: he’s officially retiring from Hollywood.
