Just one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher‘s tragic passing, legendary actress Debbie Reynolds has passed away. According to TMZ, the Singin’ in the Rain actress died Wednesday as a result of a stroke. It has been reported that the actress was at her son Tod Fisher’s home in Beverly Hills planning her later- daughter’s funeral when she suffered a stroke.
Carrie’s relationship with Debbie was the focus of Carrie’s semi-autobiographical book, Postcards from the Edge which was later adapted for the big screen, starring Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine.
Debbie’s survived by her son Todd, who has said, “She’s with Carrie.”
