The actor is in talks to star in a new biopic about J. Edgar Hoover.
The FBI boss has previously been played onscreen by Crudup – in last year’s (09) Public Enemies – and Hoskins in Oliver Stone’s Nixon in 1995.
And now DiCaprio is considering tackling the role in Hoover, which Clint Eastwood is slated to direct, reports website Deadline New York.
