Ethan Cutkosky cops plea deal in DUI case

Shameless star Ethan Cutkosky has struck a plea deal in his driving under the influence case.
The 18-year-old actor, who plays Carl Gallagher in the U.S. drama, was arrested in Los Angeles in November (17) after he was pulled over for driving erratically and was subsequently charged with one count of misdemeanour DUI.
However according to TMZ, he has agreed to plead guilty to reckless driving and in exchange the DUI charge has been dropped. The actor has also been sentenced to two years of informal probation and paid a $250 (GBP185) fine.
Days after his arrest, it was reported the charge was related to drugs rather than alcohol and he admitted to smoking marijuana. However, his lawyer tells the website the allegations have been dropped.
“Any allegation of alcohol or drugs being involved was dismissed. It was a good, fair result today,” Troy Slaten says.
