How do we put this delicately? That’s the rub, really. Hugh Hefner’s ex-fiance, Crystal Harris, not only dumped Hef days before their wedding, then aired their dirty laundry (and the Playboy creator’s bedroom issues) all over Howard Stern’s radio show, but now she’s aiming to push her life into the reality television circuit. Our delicately-worded, burning question is this: what on earth will this show be about? Apparently, there is a premise — and a rather honest one at that. Harris’ show would follow her as she struggles to find a career after putting herself on the bad side of one of the best Tinseltown insiders she could have hoped for. Well, we’ve got to give her credit for trying to turn her home-grown lemons into some sort of lemonade.
Though the series’ plot doesn’t seem all that compelling, it doesn’t seem to matter much, because Harris reportedly has meetings with various networks and there is actual interest in the former Playboy moguless-to-be’s show. Imagine that. It’s a wonder that shutting Hef down hasn’t black-listed her completely in Hollywood. Aren’t there any execs out there who are afraid to lose the chance to get an invite to Hef’s annual, covetted Midsummer Night’s Dream soiree? Whoever greenlights this show is sure to be banned from the famous grotto for all eternity.
