Oh snap! Apparently Kate Bosworth got engaged and didn’t tell anybody. Well, didn’t tell anyone until today, at least. Surprise! Doesn’t Hollywood understand we need to know every single personal detail as-it-happens? What do you think us normals invented Twitter for?
Well lucky for you all, the news wasn’t totally lost, just mixed up amongst the actress’ travelogue for Vogue. Accompanying a picture of her trip to Seoul, South Korea, Bosworth writes “On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace.” Just casually letting it drop in the first sentence of a photo description? Way to bury the lede, Bos.
If you’re surprised that Bosworth is engaged, you shouldn’t be. She and Polish have been dating for over a year (after meeting and falling in love on the set of the movie Big Sur, which Polish directed). We’ve reached out for comment from Bosworth’s rep, but, I mean…if she’s saying it in print, who are we to question its authenticity, right? Congratulations, Bos!
