Janel Parrish heartbroken by Shay Mitchell’s miscarriage news

Actress Janel Parrish was left heartbroken by Pretty Little Liars co-star Shay Mitchell’s New Year’s Day miscarriage confession.
Shay took to social media to ring in 2019 with the devastating news she had lost a baby in 2018.
The actress, who is rumoured to be dating TV host Matte Babel, wrote: “Having so many people follow me on Instagram and read my posts is both incredibly humbling and hugely uplifting. The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams.”
Her former castmate Janel read the post and admits her heart broke for her friend.
The actress tells Entertainment Tonight, “I respect her bravery so much. That can’t be an easy thing to talk about, and a lot of people go through that and I think she can inspire people for the hope of, you know… life still going on and still amazing things still happening. It’s horrible.
“My heart really goes out to her. It’s heartbreaking.”
Meanwhile, Parrish is desperate to reunite with another Pretty Little Liars castmate, Troian Bellisario, who recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Patrick J. Adams.
“I’m so happy for Troian with her sweet baby girl,” she tells ET. “I hope to meet her soon.”
