Jennifer Tilly calls in police over alleged death threats

Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Tilly has reported alleged death threats to the police.
The Bullets over Broadway star reportedly called the Los Angeles Police Department in June (16) to report messages she had allegedly received on Twitter in which the user threatened to “kill” her and Photoshopped a picture of her head next to a knife, according to TMZ.com.
Tilly told officers she was scared for her and her family’s safety. Cops investigated the source of the threats and determined the suspect is located outside of the U.S. so poses no immediate to them. However, they will continue monitoring the situation.
Tilly scored an Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for the 1994 crime drama and is also well known for voicing Celia in Pixar movie Monsters, Inc., Bonnie Swanson in animated TV show Family Guy, and scary doll Tiffany in three of the Child’s Play horror movies.
