Joe Budden admits to disorderly conduct

Rapper and reality TV star Joe Budden has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct over an altercation with his ex-girlfriend.
The Love & Hip Hop star was arrested for robbery and grand larceny in August 2014 for allegedly stealing his unnamed former flame’s cell phone and twisting her arm during a row in New York City.
He was never indicted on the charges because he reached a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, which is a violation not a crime, at Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday (03Mar16).
“After a long investigation, there was no indictment against Joe,” his lawyer Nima Ameri told reporters outside the court. “Joe’s version of events were supported and substantiated based on relevant evidence that prosecutors looked into. Both Joe and myself are very happy we were able to secure this outcome.”
Budden also tweeted about the case, writing, “After 1 year and 7 months, all domestic violence/grand larceny charges against me are dismissed….. God is good… Let this be a lesson to all….. Gotta watch these h**s… They’ll catch u up if u let’em (sic).”
A judge issued a order of protection so Budden could not contact the woman, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
He also had to pay a $75 (£53) fine for driving without a licence for a separate incident in 2015.
