Although Katy Perry was spotted hanging out with Robert Pattinson after his breakup with Kristen Stewart in May, she was just being a supportive friend. In an interview for the September issue of Elle UK, the singer said that she even texted Pattinson’s ex to let her know that the two weren’t romantically involved.
“I sent [Stewart] a text message saying, ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t**s,” Perry said.
Unfortunate? I know some guys out there would disagree. The pop superstar, who is the voice of Smurfette inThe Smurfs 2, also talked about her relationship with John Mayer. When she and Mayer took some time off earlier this year, it was a real wake-up call for Perry.
“He pulled away. That was a big hello for me,” Perry said. “I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another.”
Perry has since gotten back with Mayer and is getting ready to release her third album Prism in the fall, so it seems like she’s in a pretty good place. Hopefully her boobs don’t cause her any more trouble.
