Kelsey Grammar married his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh, yesterday in NYC’s Longacre Theater, where Grammar just finished a stint in the Broadway musical, La Cage Aux Folles. They exchanged vows on stage like true actors, and had the musical’s full orchestra surrounding them. Three of Kelsey’s four children were in attendance (Greer Grammar, Spencer Grammar and Jude Grammar, but other daughter Mason chose to spend the day with her mother, Camille Grammar). Before the vows were exchanged, family members and friends read poetry and Walsh’s brother sang “Feels Like Home,” which might have been slightly funny to some people because everyone was in a theater, which is something that is filled with different people every night…much like Kelsey Grammar himself.
The ceremony took place at The Plaza Hotel, where people ate ginger prawns, filet mignon, slow-roasted turkey breast, and braised short-ribs. The cake was a 55-inch tall carrot cake that was filmed with cream cheese and caramel. Walsh wore a dress by Peter Langam for Mark Ingram.
